wellsite and hydraulic fracturing activities
The KA1/7/19/20 wellsite is located at 360 Palmer Road and lies within the Kapuni Catchment approximately
50 m to the west of the Kapuni Stream. The area surrounding the site is rural in nature and farming and
forestry activities co-exist with active petroleum exploration and production operations. The location of the

1.2.2 The Mangahewa-C wellsite and hydraulic fracturing activities
The Mangahewa-C wellsite is located on Tikorangi Road East, Tikorangi and lies within the Waiau
catchment. The area surrounding the site is rural in nature and farming and forestry activities co-exist with

Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) in respect of the consents held by TAG Oil
(NZ) Limited that relate to exploration activities at Cheal-E wellsite. This report
covers the results and findings of the monitoring programme from July 2013 to
August 2014. During this period, Cheal-E wellsite, located off Sole Road in the
Stratford District, was established with five wells (E1, E2, E3, E4 and E5) which were
drilled and tested. Three of the five wells are now in production.
