Council in full swing with safety the top priority

The safety of the public and staff remain the highest priority for Taranaki Regional Council moving into Level 2.

Council offices reopen to the public from 14 May, with physical distancing and other Level 2 pandemic response requirements to be strictly observed.

The Council’s programmes and activities, most of which had already resumed under Level 3, will continue, with physical distancing and other requirements strictly observed. Any activities involving the public must be limited to groups of 10 or less in total.

Citylink, Connector and Southlink bus services are running. See for the measures to be taken under Level 2, and also for any timetable adjustments as they are finalised.

Pukeiti, Tūpare and Hollard Gardens remain open, to groups of not more than 10 people. Physical distancing and other requirements must be observed. Any organised public events at these venues will be limited to 100 people, to be attended by separate groups of not more than 10 people each.

Council meetings continue to take place in virtual online format in the meantime, due to the numbers involved.
