Use the form on this page to make your submissions on the Taranaki Regional Council's Proposed Regional Pest Management Plan and/or its Draft Biosecurity Strategy.
The Proposed Regional Pest Management Plan for Taranaki sets out the Council's powers and rules to prevent, reduce, or eliminate the adverse effects of 18 targeted pests in the region.
The Draft Taranaki Regional Council Biosecurity Strategy outlines the Council’s broader biosecurity goals and actions over the next 20 years, including both regulatory and non-regulatory activities and addressing all harmful organisms.
These documents, as well as a cost-benefit analysis of the Proposed Plan and a number of information sheets, can be downloaded from this page.
The deadline for submissions is 4pm on Friday 30 June 2017.
The submission form is in three parts. The first covers details about yourself, the second covers submissons on the Proposed Regional Pest Management Plan and the third covers submissions on the Draft Biosecurity Strategy. You can submit on both documents or either one of them.
Submissions and the identity of submittors are public information and will be published on the Council's website and made available for others to publish.
If your submission is lengthy, draft it in a separate document. Then you can either copy it into the relevant field below, or upload it using the upload buttons. To complete the online submission process, click or tap the 'Submit' button at the bottom of the page.
