From 1 July, children 12 and under will travel for free and under 25s will get 50% off their fares, when using a registered Bee Card. For all others, bus fares will return to full price.
Half price bus fares end Friday 30 June.
New concessions available
If you already have a registered Bee Card with your birth date listed, these discounts will be applied automatically.
Child (5-12 years)
If you are aged 5-12 years you will travel free on the bus from 1 July.
You must have a registered Bee Card and remember to tag on and tag off to access this concession
Youth (13-24 years)
If you are aged 13-24 years you will pay half price fares on the bus from 1 July.
You must have a registered Bee Card and remember to tag on and tag off to access this concession.

Bee Cards cost $5, apply online(external link) or from one of our retailers. The pre-paid smartcard can be used throughout Taranaki (and other participating regions) to pay for your journey. Bee Cards enable faster boarding, offer cheaper fares than the cash equivalent on and can have concessions loaded on to them.
