Waitara and Bell Block will get an extra weekday bus service to and from New Plymouth in the New Year, taking the number of return services from five to six. Tranzit Coachlines, which operates Citylink services under contract to the Taranaki Regional Council, will begin the new Route 20 timetable from Thursday 3 January, 2019. This report is for the period July 2014 to June 2015 by the Taranaki Regional Council
(the Council) on the monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by
NZ Pure Bred Genetics Ltd (formerly known as Meadowvale Stud Farm Ltd Piggery).
NZ Pure Bred Genetics Ltd (the Company) is operated by J & R Cooley who leases the
piggery buildings and associated wastewater treatment system from E & J O’Sullivan
The Company operates a
endowment properties in New Plymouth.
These transferred to the Council at the time it assumed the
role of the previous Taranaki Harbours Board in 1989.
Properties are leased on long-term basis to external parties
(perpetually renewable ground leases). As at 30 June 2014,
these properties were valued at $14,901,500.
The Council’s policy to the management of these leases is:
