1.1.1 Introduction
This report is the Annual Report for the period July 2012-June 2013 by the Taranaki
Regional Council on the monitoring programme associated with resource consents
held by Bell Block Land Holdings Limited & AJ Cowley Limited. The Companies

1.3 Site location and description
The site is located on Manawapou Road, Manutahi in South Taranaki. This site is positioned on marginal
coastal farm land situated on reworked dune fields. An extensive (100-250 m) foredune is located seaward
of the consented site, and will remain undisturbed by site activities. The foredune provides a considerable
natural buffer from prevailing onshore winds. A natural gas pipeline runs adjacent to the length of
a Bee Card, however you will be charged the higher cash fare. Bee cards cost $5, plus a minimum top-up of $5. The minimum recharge amount is $5. They can recharged on the bus (cash only).
