needed - it is often already a mix of reverting
scrub and bare rock bluff.
• Wetlands - where spots on terraces or
floodways are simply too low-lying for
drainage to be effective, stock management and
safety will be improved if they are fenced off
from the better pasture. Their value may be
greater as refuges for fish and waterfowl.
