between the second and final pond was occurring at the time of inspection. No odour
was detected around the pond system and everything appeared to be well managed.

Piggery discharge and receiving water samples were collected during overcast weather
conditions with a light northwesterly wind blowing. Heavy rain had been recorded
throughout the catchment overnight.

wellsites. Inspections were undertaken on 28 July and 31 October 2022, and
8 March and 16 May 2023. Additional monitoring was undertaken during the monitoring period in relation
to drilling at the Kapuni-J wellsite. This will be discussed in the annual drilling report.
28 July 2022
Heavy persistent rain and strong winds have proceeded the inspection. The stormwater system was working
well, with all stormwater being collected and directed for treatment prior to discharge from site. The site
process areas and roadways, the stormwater collection and retention systems, stormwater sampling and
release records and inspections of the discharge point and receiving waters in the Herekawe Stream.
Scheduled inspections were carried out on 21 August and 5 November 2020, and 11 February and 20 May
2021.
Notes from these visits are summarised below. Records of production and incinerator operation were
inspected and found to be satisfactory.
