New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) and Taranaki Regional Council (TRC) have received applications
for resource consent to allow for the construction of a new rock revetment supporting a shared
pathway for public access at Weld Road Reserve, Tataraimaka and replacement bridge above
Whenuariki Stream.
Council was not required to undertake significant additional investigations and
interventions, or record incidents, in association with the Company’s conditions in resource consents or
provisions in Regional Plans.

3 Discussion
3.1 Discussion of site performance
2022-2023 marks the third monitoring year for the JRPP. Operations commenced 15 May 2020, post the
commissioning stage undertaken in March of the same year. Notifications and data required by consent

could alter the nature of the discharge. Any such change shall then only occur
following receipt of any necessary approval under the Resource Management Act.
Notification shall include the consent number, a brief description of the activity
consented and an assessment of the environmental effects of any changes, and be
emailed to worknotification@trc.govt.nz.
