recovery, treatment, and disposal of industrial and agricultural wastes within the region
other than through Colson Road landfill, including an assessment of the capacity of existing
channels/facilities to cope with future change. It has gathered quantitative data on waste
management activities in the region, across municipal, industrial, and commercial operators
dealing with solid wastes, where this is available, and has provided comment and estimates
in other cases. The inventory also covers

plant located on Manaia Road at Kapuni, in the Kaupokonui catchment. The plant processes milk and whey
permeate from dairy product manufacture around the North Island. This report for the period July 2017 to
June 2018 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the
Council) to assess the Company’s environmental performance during the period under review. The report
also details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental
a priority. Acknowledges work up till now but
states that sprays are still being applied incorrectly and
YBG continues to move rapidly along road corridors.
Notes that this does not met the Strategy objective of
preventing spread in the Taranaki region.
Two options are suggested: 1. Put Yellow bristle grass
in Plan under Sustained Control category. Notes that
this has financial implications for Council and farmers.

1. Introduction
1.1 Compliance monitoring programme reports and the Resource
Management Act 1991
1.1.1 Introduction
This report is the Biennial Report for the period July 2011- June 2013 by the Taranaki
Regional Council (the Council) on the monitoring programme associated with
resource consents held by AA Contracting
consents for a petrochemical production station located on
Cheal Road at Ngaere, in the Patea catchment. The Copper Moki Production Station processes
oil and gas from the Company’s adjacent wellsite. This report for the period July 2012-June
2014 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to
assess the Company’s environmental performance during the period under review, and the
results and environmental effects of the Company’s activities.
