Executive summary
Burgess and Crowley Limited (the Company) operates a quarry located on East Road
Council to prepare a Regional Land Transport Plan . The Regional Land Transport Plan has a six-year life, and sets out the region’s land transport objectives, policies and measures for at least 10 financial years. It also contains a request for funding support of activities relating to state highways and local roads and public transport services and identifies the order of priority of the significant activities. Process description 2.1.1
The purpose of the Downer EDI Works Ltd (Downer) plant is to produce asphalt for
use on roads and driveways etc. A permanent drum mix plant has replaced the batch
plant and mobile plant that were formerly in use at the site.
The asphalt production is achieved by the following processes. The plant is a parallel-

The Ahuroa B Gas Storage Facility (Ahuroa B/AGS) is owned and operated by Flexgas Ltd (the Company).
Ahuroa B is located on the corner of Barleymans Road and Croydon Road, east of Midhirst, in the Waitara
catchment. Ahuroa B supplies natural gas to one of its main customers, Contact Energy, for use in their
Stratford Power Station. This report for the period July 2021 to June 2022 describes the monitoring
programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional
