Do you think the Council should go ahead with the proposed trial predator control programme, to be

Thus, the findings of the macroinvertebrate monitoring programme demonstrate that the
Council and regional community are meeting the Long Term Plan (LTP) target, to maintain
and enhance water quality in the region, even more robustly as each year goes by. The
greatest proportion of the improving sites are located in mid to lower/mid-catchment
reaches; significant improvement at the
New Zealand Onshore Ltd (the Company), holds consents for a hydrocarbon production station
located on Upper Durham Road at Inglewood, in the Waitara catchment. The Sidewinder Production Station
(previously operated by TAG Oil (NZ) Ltd) processes condensate and gas from the Company’s adjacent

Executive summary
BTW Company Limited (BTW) operates a drilling waste landfarm located on South Road at
Manaia (Oeo
Green vegetative wastes Greenwaste including lawn clippings, tree prunings etc. Greenwaste is
the main bulking agent, as it has the correct carbon to nitrogen ratio for
optimal composting. It is sourced from greenwaste collection services in
Taranaki and the Colson Road Transfer Station.
Sawdust Untreated sawdust is used as a bulking agent, predominantly for the
drilling waste streams, however it will also be used to ensure the correct
carbon/nitrogen ratio is achieved in the composting of
dairy processing complex
located on Whareroa Road at Hawera, in the Tangahoe, Tawhiti and Tasman catchments.
The company hold resource consents to allow for the abstraction of water from the Tawhiti
Stream and Tangahoe River; the discharge of water treatment wastewater back to those two
streams; the discharge of stormwater to unnamed tributaries of the Tawhiti Stream, the
Tangahoe River and an unnamed coastal stream; the discharge of stormwater and sediment
to land; the discharge of dairy
