by the consent holder/s during the period under review, this report also assigns a
rating as to each Company’s environmental and administrative performance.
Environmental performance is concerned with actual or likely effects on the
receiving environment from the activities during the monitoring year.
Administrative performance is concerned with the Company’s
Freshwater recreational bathing monitoring report - Taranaki Regional Council.

The final cost will be determined by participant numbers,
exchange rates nearer the departure dates and any reasonable
increases in tariffs that might be applied by contractors.
Actual dates will be confirmed when bookings
are made with the airlines and
the consents for the discharge of drilling waste. Further inspections were
conducted at the site during sampling and incident follow up inspections were also
conducted. Inspections focussed on the following aspects:
• observable and/or ongoing effects upon soil and groundwater quality associated
with the land disposal process
• effective incorporation of material, application rates and associated earthworks
• integrity and management of storage facilities
• dust and odour
groundwater at a maximum rate of 40 l/s as a combined total from up to seven water
bores in a bore field for horizontal directional drilling, pipeline hydro-testing and
production station operation purposes. This permit was issued by the Taranaki
Regional Council on 2 November 2006 under Section 87(e) of the Resource
Management Act. It is due to expire on 1 June 2039. Changes to the conditions of the
consent were made on 25 July 2007.

Environmental performance is concerned with actual or likely effects on the receiving
environment from the activities during the monitoring year. Administrative
staff initiated a more
comprehensive investigation into the effects of activities on localised groundwater in the
vicinity of the landfarming facility. The monitoring in 2011-2012 showed that effects of site
activities were detected in the groundwater in the immediate vicinity of the storage area.
The Council’s concerns over the extent of control of wastes while in storage meant that the
Company’s overall performance in the 2011-2012 year was rated as ‘good’ rather than ‘high’.
