The Council is currently reviewing the Regional Coastal Plan for Taranaki.

A Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki has been publicly notified and 61 written submissions were received. These submissions and a summary can be downloaded from this page. 

The Council now invites further submissions on the Proposed Coastal Plan. 

Please note:

  • Further submissions can only be made in support or opposition of an existing submission and must not raise any new points.
  • You are obliged to notify the orginal submitter to whom your further submission relates. Find their email address on our list of submitters and their contact details.
  • Further submissions close on 4 August, 2018.

The 44 maps cover the entire Taranaki coastline from north to south. The exact location of each map can be seen in the index, which also has a legend explaining the colours, shadings and symbols used on the maps.
