exceeded 280 cfu/100 ml. It had not rained for the few days preceding and
conductivity of the sample taken on 8 March 2016 (4690 mS/m) did not indicate strong

An inspection was conducted in overcast weather with rain showers and north westerly wind conditions.
The influent screen was tidy and wastes were fully contained. The primary pond influent flow was reasonably
clear with an estimated flow rate of 3 L/s. the pond was a turbid, light green brown colour with a rippled
surface.

weather was kind, but there were a few
surprises. It did not rain for ten days and
much of the place needed irrigating,
particularly the nursery, and at times the
irrigation system was subject to

evidenced by black tyre marks, were
discouraged by Graham focusing a torch
on the security cameras.

material they can expel water under strong earthquake shaking as well as settle differentially.
Swamps may also amplify low to moderate levels of earthquake shaking and where their
depth is greater than 10 metres they fall into Ground Class E (soft soil) of the ground
classification scheme used in NZS 1170.5 – the structural design code used for building
design in New Zealand.
