station (HEPS) located on the Patea River on Maben Road, near Hurleyville. Water is impounded behind the
82 m high Patea Dam to form Lake Rotorangi. This water is diverted through the 32 MW power station, the
largest in Taranaki.
This report for the period July 2021 to June 2022 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
