Vision

Unitary Authorities.
2 Objectives
The principal objective of RSHL is to deliver on the vision, mission and values.
The secondary objective of RSHL is to: 1
a) achieve the objectives of its Shareholders, both commercial and non-commercial as
specified in this Statement of Intent;
b) be a good employer;
c) exhibit a sense of social and environmental responsibility by having regard to the interests of
the community in which the
limits and targets before notification of the Plan in 2024. What are Freshwater Management Units (FMUs)? The six proposed FMUs for Taranaki are the Northern Hill Country, the Pātea Catchment, the Waitara Catchment, the Coastal Terraces, the Southern Hill Country and the Volcanic Ring Plain.
Every waterbody in the region needs to be contained within an FMU. Within each FMU Council will set time-specific freshwater goals aligned with community and iwi aspirations to build better environmental outcomes
this goal were taken in 2020/2021.
RSHL also operates the Sector Financial Management System (SFMS) on behalf of the regional sector. Under this agreement,
RSHL manages funding collected from the sector to support shared sector activities.

Students and teachers were fascinated by a current farm trial which uses a technology called “Spikey” - a machine with spikes that hitches onto the back of a 4-wheeler or tractor and can detect urine patches in pastures. Spikey works by releasing a product on each patch of urine that inhibits nitrification.
