Review of the Navigation
Safety Bylaws for Port Taranaki
and its Approaches
Pursuant to section 156 of the Local Government Act 2002, the Taranaki
Regional Council gives notice that it is reviewing the Navigation Safety Bylaws
for Port Taranaki and its Approaches.
The Proposed Navigation Safety Bylaws for Port Taranaki and its Approaches
as well as the Statement of Proposal and supporting documentation,

Ohanga-A wellsite, located at 324 Ohanga
Road, Urenui. The wellsite lies within the Onaero catchment and contains two hydrocarbon
producing wells and associated infrastructure.
GPL hold resource consent 10053-1, authorising the discharge of water based hydraulic
fracturing fluids into land at depths greater than 2,700 m TVD beneath the Ohanga-A wellsite.
The consent was issued by Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on 21 January 2015 and
contains 18 special conditions which set out the

Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki
Pursuant to Clause 5 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act
1991, the Taranaki Regional Council gives notice that it has prepared
a Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki and that it is open for submissions.
The Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki assists the Council in carrying out its
functions to promote the sustainable management of coastal resources in

GPL hold resource consent 9632-1, authorising the discharge of contaminants associated with
hydraulic fracturing activities into land at depths greater than 3,000 m TVD beneath the
Urenui-1 wellsite. The consent was issued by Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on 24
September 2013 and contains 16 special conditions which set out
addressing potential threats and actual threats are

at this site during the 2012-2013 monitoring year. This report for the period July 2012 – June
2013 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to
assess the Company’s environmental performance during the period under review, and the
results and environmental effects of the Company’s activities.
The Company holds one resource consent, which includes a total of 23 conditions setting out
