Executive summary
NZEC Waihapa Limited and Taranaki Ventures Limited (the Company) operate a number of
crushing shell rock quarry located on
Rangitatau West Road at Maxwell, in the Waitotara catchment two kilometres from the
Makokako Stream. It operates on a commercial basis.
This report for the period July 2009-June 2013 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to assess the Company’s environmental
performance during the period under review, and the results and environmental effects of
the Company’s activities.
The Company held two resource consents
Avenue, New Plymouth. This report for the period July 2017 to June 2018 describes the
monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess NPDC’s
environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report also details
the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of NPDC’s activities.
