Executive summary
This report for the period July 2015 to June 2017 outlines and discusses the results of the monitoring
programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) in relation to hydraulic fracturing
activities

relation to hydraulic fracturing activities conducted by Todd Energy Limited (Todd) at their
Mangahewa-D wellsite. The wellsite is located on Rimutauteka Road, Inglewood and lies
within the Waitara Catchment. This report also assesses Todd’s level of environmental
performance and compliance with the resource consents held in relation to the activity.

Manawapou Road near Manutahi, in the Manawapou catchment, South Taranaki. The consent held by WRS
was originally granted in May 2012 to Remediation Services NZ and was then transferred to WRS in June
2014. This report marks the third full year WRS has been in charge of the Symes Manawapou Landfarm. This
is the fifth report by the Council for this facility.

2017/2018 is 0.017880 (GST inclusive). The Council
