The Taranaki Regional Council Environmental Awards recognise outstanding mahi and initiatives that aim to help protect and enhance our region's environment.
2024 Awards
The nomination period for the 2024 Environmental Awards runs from 23 August to 23 September. If you know a person, organisation or project that's doing outstanding work to protect and enhance our region's environment, nominate them for an award.
Awards Categories and Criteria
There are seven award categories:
- Environmental Action in Education
- Environmental Action in Biodiversity
- Environmental Leadership in Climate Action
- Environmental Action in Water Quality Improvement
- Youth Environmental Leader
- Environmental Leadership in Farming
- Environmental Action in the Community
