Iwi considerations
14. This memorandum and the associated recommendations are consistent with the
Council’s policy for the development of Māori capacity to contribute to decision-making
processes (schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 2002) as outlined in the adopted long-
term plan and/or annual plan. Similarly, iwi involvement
on 19 October 2020, the Committee adopted
the Pukeiti Asset Management Plan noting the feedback from Iwi and Hapū timeline
had been extended. No Iwi and Hapū feedback was received.
Decision-making considerations
19. Part 6 (Planning, decision-making and accountability) of the Local Government Act 2002
