2.1.3.2 Biomonitoring
The Council collected streambed macroinvertebrates from two sites (approximately 500 m and 1,600 m
downstream of the discharge) in an unnamed coastal stream (informally known as the Ngapirau Stream) on
12 January 2021 to investigate the effects of the Maui Production
State of the Environment Rocky Shore monitoring report 2015-2017.
