This is the fourth state of the environment report for Taranaki—earlier reports were prepared in 1996, 2003
and 2009. The Resource Management Act 1991 requires regional councils to monitor the overall state of the
regional environment and reports like this can help us to answer important questions about the quality of
our environment and the effectiveness of our programmes and our future directions in promoting
sustainable
specific requirements with which the Company must comply.
