Foreword
This document is the proposed Pest Management Plan
for Taranaki (the Plan). Its purpose is to set out the
statutory framework by which the Taranaki Regional
Council will undertake the management of pest
animals and pest plants in the Taranaki region for the
next 10 years.
The Plan is the fourth plan prepared by the Taranaki
Regional Council for its pest management functions.
(NPDC) operates four water supply schemes in the New Plymouth District.
This report for the period July 2018 to June 2019 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess NPDC’s environmental performance and consent
compliance during the period under review.
NPDC holds 19 resource consents, relating to those water supply systems which include a total of 149
conditions setting out the requirements that the consent holder must satisfy.
