Green waste from a Hawera based contractor is transported to the site and discharged over
areas of sandy pasture that have undergone aeolian erosion. The green waste helps trap soil
and sand and upon decomposition, adds nutrients and condition to the sandy soils.
This report for the period July 2014 to June 2015 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to

at Stratford, in the Patea catchment. The Waihapa Production Station processes oil and gas from numerous
associated wellsites. This report for the period July 2016 to June 2017 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and
consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report also details the results of the
monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the
Patea catchment. The
consent holder holds a resource consent to allow the discharge of treated stormwater from a
quarry site onto and into land and into the Kahouri Stream in the Patea catchment. This
report for the period July 2011-June 2013 describes the monitoring programme implemented
by the Taranaki Regional Council to assess the Company’s environmental performance
during the period under review, and the results and environmental effects of the Company’s
activities.
Hey Trust holds
a petrochemical production station located on
Mountain Road at Ngaere, in the Waingongoro catchment. The Cheal Production Station
processes oil and gas from the Cheal group of wellsites. It is operated by TAG Oil New
Zealand Limited. This report for the period July 2013-June 2014 describes the monitoring
programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to assess the Company’s

During the period, the Company demonstrated an overall ‘good’ level for environmental
performance and compliance with the resource consents.
The Company holds six resource consents, which include a total of 90 conditions setting out
the requirements that the Company
landfill located on Bristol Road at
Inglewood, in the Waitara catchment. The sole source of the wood waste is from Value
Timber’s sawmilling operation in Inglewood. Value Timber sells most of its woodchip and
sawdust as calf litter. The remaining material consisting of bark, soil, and soiled
woodchip/sawdust is sent to the Bristol Rd site for disposal.

groundwater seepage from quarrying into an unnamed tributary of the Patea River and to
