We note that there is a significant gap in costs between Option 1 ($6m) and Option 2
($55m). Given Sport NZ s concern of the appropriate scale of response, it is unclear
whether the Regional Council has considered other solutions that would fall between
Ordinary Meeting to hear submissions on the 2019/2020 Plan - Submissions of those that wish to be heard -
interpreted without reference to the original three-component displacement data and
knowledge of any substantial regional tectonic events.

10. The consent holder shall ensure that during construction periods, the area subject to
works shall have sufficient signage to warn the public of any potential hazards.
11. The consent holder shall maintain the structure in a safe and sound state such that:
a. it does not fall into a state of disrepair and continues to function effectively for
the purpose it was designed i.e. for the protection of State Highway 3; and
