(WestSide) operates a petrochemical production station located on Mokoia Road at
Mokoia, in the Manawapou catchment. This report for the period July 2017 to June 2018 describes the
monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the
Company’s environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report
also details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the
Company’s activities.
Assessment of cultural effects - Remediation (NZ) Ltd
held by three concrete batching plants in the
Taranaki Region, namely AML Limited (Allied Concrete) on Mould Street in Waitara, Firth Industries on
Glover Road in Hawera, and Fletcher Concrete and Infrastructure Limited (Fletcher Concrete) on Mountain
Road in Stratford.
This report covers the results and findings of the monitoring programme implemented by the Council in
respect of the consents held by Allied Concrete, Firth Industries, and Fletcher Concrete that relate to
discharges of
located on South Road near Manaia, in the Rawa catchment, South Taranaki. The site was
operational from September 2012 to November 2013 when synthetic, water based muds and
rock cuttings were disposed to land under the process of landfarming. This report for the
period July 2015 to June 2016 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental performance
during the period under review. The report also details the
operations for the Kaupokonui Old
Mans Beard control programme.
The contract for the final stage of the Kaupokonui Old Mans Beard
project has been awarded. Work was started and completed in
December for the area from Skeet Road to the coast.

This report is the Annual Report for the period July 2014 to June 2015 by the
Taranaki Regonal Council (the Council) on the monitoring programme associated
with resource consents held by three concrete batching plants in the Taranaki
Region, namely Allied Concrete Limited (Allied Concrete) on Mould Street in
Waitara, Firth Industries on Glover Road in Hawera, and Fletcher
severe weather event at the beginning of May. South
Taranaki District Councils EOC also activated for this event. The impacts were felt across the
region, mainly wind damage with North Taranaki being impacted the most. Localised surface
flooding, several roads affected by trees, and two private properties were impacted along with
widespread power outages.
The weather was not as severe as forecasted by Metservice and the ECC stood down after a day and
a half of operation.
