and considered responsible resource

1 Introduction
1.1 Compliance monitoring programme reports and the Resource
Management Act 1991
1.1.1 Introduction
This report is the third combined biennial report by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) for the
quarry monitoring programmes in the region. There are two biennial streams in which quarry monitoring
hold a total of 20
resource consents, which include special conditions setting out the requirements that the
cleanfill operators must satisfy.
This report for the period July 2012 to June 2013 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to assess the environmental performance at
each of these sites during the period under review, and the results and effects of the
cleanfilling activities and discharges.
Of the 19 consents dealt with in this

The South Taranaki District Council (STDC) operates a total of 11 water supply

the Port Area Industrial Catchments of New Plymouth. The report also details the results of the monitoring
